carpet cleaning process

STEP 1: PRE-INSPECTION

Before starting any job, our technicians will conduct a pre-inspection of the carpets to determine the condition, make/construction of your carpet and any existing damage to determine the best way to treat any stains. This also gives you an opportunity to point out any concerns or ask us any questions. We will also inform you where there is the possibility that a permanent stain cannot be removed to avoid any surprises.

STEP 2: PRE-vacuum

No need to vacuum before we arrive! Our commercial grade vacuum cleaner will remove any nasties from your carpet before we commence steam cleaning.

STEP 3: Pre-spray and spotting liquid application

A pre-spray is applied to help bring deep dirt to the surface layer of your carpet, and then a spotting application is used on any spots, stains or heavy traffic areas. Note - even with pre spotting treatment, there may be some particularly stubborn stains that cannot be completely removed. Your technician will be able to identify these and discuss with you during the pre-inspection.

STEP 4: extract and rinse

Next, we remove the emulsified dirt and muck from your carpet with our truck mounted hot water extraction steam cleaning machine. The carpet fibres are thoroughly rinsed and extracted using suitable pressure (200psi to 400psi) and heat (60c to 130c) adjusted to your carpet specification in order to avoid over saturation of your carpet. The steaming process removes pollen, dirt and allergens from your carpet and you will notice the improved air quality throughout your house.

Any stubborn spots are treated again and the steaming process is continued.

STEP 5: post inspection

We take pride in what we do and customer satisfaction is very important to us!

Once your carpet has been thoroughly cleaned, we encourage you to walk through the cleaned area using the provided disposable boots to inspect our work and ensure you are satisfied with the result.
